What do I need to bring?
If you have been assigned a host, contact him/her to see, if he/she wants to bring you anything special. If you stay at the Community House, do not bring mattresses. We have that covered. The Community House also has a small kitchen, but no bath. The Document "Addresses and directions" will show you where to find the nearest bathing fascility. Other than that you primarily need some money, good humour and the usual travel stuff. Also check out the general what to bring list.

Now that the second part of the signup has opened, we urge you to fill out the form.
We’re doing everything possible to arrange accommodation, but first in, first served. Our goal is to get 50 hosts. That is based on experiences from the last A Week and the estimated number of hosts in Copenhagen. When those beds a filled up, 25 beds have been prepared in a community house near the center of Copenhagen. If that’s not sufficient the backup location can hold 50 more. In the freak incident that those 125 spaces fills up, we will direct you to some alternative hosting. -that being cheep youth hostels or Couchsurfing

You and your host will be introduced to each other by mail, and we’ll leave you to get acquainted. The same goes for the alternative sleeping arrangement, where an A Week organizer will play the role as the beloved host.

A Week is casual activities and you are not required or limited to attend any number of days. Some of the activities have a limited number of participants; to secure a spot you can sign up for these at the community house Kraftwerket. We will go a long way to support public demand, but it is not possible with all events.

On Thursday, when A Week closes down, we have arranged transportation for up to 100 persons. Tickets will be handled by the crew at the community house at a small fee of 30kr.

If you have ideas or questions regarding A Week in Denmark, the Danish committees version of a tall, dark man (mr. Peter Andreasen) has devoted his life to answering your e-mails.
